We consciously avoid older filters such as Octocrylene, Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, and Ecamsule, which are increasingly associated with coral reef damage, inadequate photostability, and skin intolerances. The result: an effective, reef-conscious formula that is well tolerated for daily use - with a lightweight, invisible finish and no white cast.

Our SPF50 cream is developed and manufactured in Switzerland. For the key active ingredients, we rely on ingredients of natural origin: extracts from red and sugar algae, mung bean plant cells, and a vegan alternative to silk. We source our algae-based active ingredients from specialized manufacturers who document the origin of their raw materials.

"Ocean-friendly filters" refers to sunscreen ingredients that comply with regulations for the protection of marine ecosystems, particularly coral reefs. The Hawaiian Reef Law (Act 104, 2018) prohibits the sale of sunscreens containing certain harmful chemicals such as oxybenzone and octinoxate, which can contribute to coral bleaching and harm marine life.

Unopened, you can store the products for up to 3 years. After opening, they should be used within 12 months.

No, in principle, the cream should come out of the tube evenly. However, it may occasionally get a bit stuck towards the end of use. In such cases, we recommend the following steps:
1. Push the contents down: Gently squeeze the tube from top to bottom – but not towards the tube head, rather towards the bottom of the tube.
2. Let air escape: Slightly open the cap to allow any trapped air to escape.
3. Flatten the tube: Squeeze the tube flat to completely remove excess air, and then seal it again.

This ensures that the cream can be optimally extracted down to the last drop.
